A Celtic book cover.
Here you have what client asked me to do:
"We would like a noble tall woman with long blond hair that waves in the wind, dressed white and noble but not overcrowded
(maybe with a cloak like "La donna di Avalon" which is also waving in the wind), possibly she holds her arms so that her
palms are laid to one another in front of her. She should stand on a boat/barque which is crossing the cover from the right
so that she shows her profile, (perspective like the German Avalon covers).
The boat/barque should have some Celtic ornaments and burning torches on the sides.
The background should be the foggy shore of a lake/river with silhouettes of trees. The whole colour setting should
be blue and green (and yellow for the torch light),it should have the atmosphere of a foggy and misty morning, but nevertheless powerful."
I think I reached the goal...but I've been lucky in finding good photos as reference :)
